This project is set in Nanjing, China, and focuses on children who are socially dependent. I designed a children's welfare house by studying how sound, shape, and colour affect children at different ages.

The building is enclosed with a central courtyard, inspired by how sound reflects in space. It uses bright, warm colours and geometric windows to support children's mental and emotional development.
